last blog post!
Yup its true! last blog post!! After this year i think that im going to shutoff my blog account because i dont really know when im ever gonna use it again. Now for english... I really liked "Me and Orson Welles", i say so because some people can relate to richard. Mabye by being a teenager, or hi trying to get known. But over all it was a good book and i am really excited to see the movie this week! Speaking of this week, this week is going to be the most stressful week that ive had on awhile. This week i have to write a 5 paragraph essay in english, finish my final project for infotech, finish my final project for computer art, and give a final project presentation in us history. So yeah im freaking out right now. And of course i lost my usb containing my entire us history project, so today im going to do it all over again. the worst thing about these blogs is that fact that i have NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT.... so i guess im done, by.

Woo mothers day
Mothers day? Eh, just another day. The only difference is showing appreciation for my mother by cooking, cleaning, and laundry. So basically my weekend has been a blah. Friday? Lets seeeee, my mom had a card party/tournament with all her friends so basically i spent the entire night in my bedroom playing Black ops. It wasnt so bad because its double XP weekend and i had just downloaded the new map pack that had taken me 3 days of trying to successfully download. Besides killing zombies and other 12 year olds, i ended up passin out at around 1 because i had a in-car with floyd at 8 in the morning. That also, wasnt as bad as i thought because floyd is a nice guy and always seems to make in-cars interesting. Also, that was my 4th in car so i am done with those! Im feeling a little down because tennis season for me ends this tuesday because the JV dont have any more matchs :(. Now for english, last week, we took our easy peasy caesar test and started broadening the topic on Olsen Wells. It seems to me that if i were living in the time back whenever he was at his prime, that he would be the most interesting person to meet. He seems intelligent and outgoing based on his hit shows at the age of 22. I gotta say that his childhood must have been a little stressful. Mabye its just me but having to hold up the constant nickname of a child prodigy must have been stressful. Always having to make sure that what he does helps him become successful in his future. Always having people think that whatever you do is amazing. Having that kind of stress must have been hard, i say this because no kid at a young age should have to live with the constant reminder that he needs to be special in everything. Sure some things came natural but other things probably didnt. But whatever, thats just my thoughts. I also thought that the movie about him was interesting because here are a couple of old black people that used to act in Hamlet, talking about how olsen acted in his work place. Some people said so many nice things that you would think shes describing a god or something. So i am a little here and there when the thought of reading the fiction book olsen wells.

hola
hello people reading this blog (no one). I came here today to discuss my weekend with you lovely people. So welcome ladies and future museum exhibits, this is my awesome blog. SO heres the breakdown, last week we wrapped up the playbook on caesar and took the act 5 quiz. I must say that i shouldnt have fallen asleep some of those days because there are still some parts in that story that still confuse me. Also, i have only a slight idea of who the characters are and their roles. For instance, i have no idea what role lucius plays in all this, all i know is that he is a conspirator (i think), and that i read his part some days. But overall i liked the book because i really havnt read a book where the MAIN character dies not even halfway through the book. It was really interesting listening to Mr. Potter explain how Shakespeare was a genius basically. I also thought it was funny when Shakespeare paused the play and basically said that this play will live on in future cultures and different languages. Its kinda like he was psychic or he was just cocky saying that his play is going to be famous longer than his lifetime. Whatever, i just thought it was interesting. This weekend however, is looking like a slight chance of boredom with highs of xbox and lows of sleeping. yup, boring weekend. Yesturday, i played doubles at my tennis match with justin soles. We played st. Charles and we ended up winning 7-6 (tiebreaker= 8-6) then 6-1. For all of you that dont understand tennis scores, we won 7 games to 6 games in the first set and had to play a tie breaker (because sets are first to 6) and we won the tie breaker 8 points to 6 points (not games). Then in the second set, we won 6 games to 1 game. So basically we were neck-and-neck the first set, then kicked their butt the second set. Its funny because every single time i play someone from St. Charles, i am always neck and neck with the dude and we end up either playing a tiebreaker, or playing a whole 3rd set. So yeah, i just sitting here listening to bassnectar typing a blog at my dads house. I gotta go, so see ya later peoples.

Hey! my 51st post!
Yup, this is my 51st post. That means that we have done at least 25 blog posts and 25 responces. SO, now onto my weekend. On friday, i woke up and went to lunch in easton and then went to tennis for an hour. Then i babysat my little brother and went to my friends house for a night. We just did what teens do at each others houses and found myself on the floor in his basement because i was sooo tired. So i went home and slept for 6 hours and went for an incar at 4. It wasnt soo bad, we mostly went on 71 north and then drove through easton haha. I kinda like my driving instructor floyd, and thats just because hes been doing this for so long. Sure hes a little weird, but hes laid back and doesnt make things too awkward when we are driving. He tells stories, makes jokes, and just likes talking in general which isnt so bad. Last week in english, we basically read caesar all week and that definatly gets old. I really dont know how the book wil go on knowing that the main character died not even halfway through the book. In my opinion, he should have died a little later just to make it not seem so boring now. Plus its hard to understand because of the old slang used back whenever shakespear wrote it. Its like reading a new language. SO this concludes my post for this weekend! i cant wait until i dont have to do these blogs. I wouldve liked a facebook update more. Like he makes a facebook classroom page and we all comment on the page. But whatever, goodnight blog...

The school year is comin to an end...
Last week in english, we read the first two acts of julius caeser. I think that william shakespear did a very good job with this play because of all the secrets hidden in characters lines. I would have to read this play a couple more times just to fully understand it! One thing i dont like is having to do the vocabulary, mabye its because im lazy bht whatever. So now onto my weekend. This weekend has been pretty average itself because i really havnt accomplished much more than watching movies. Lets see, ive watched bruno, the other guys, terminator salvation, the book of eli, tron legacy, lots of american dad, and gamer. So yeah ive been doing nothing all weekend. Im starting to notice that my school weeks are going by alot faster. I dont know if thats just because im used to the school days or tht its the last quarter for this year. Im really excited for this summer though! Probably because ill have my license and ill be going on some fun vacations! Im on my iphone right now so its been alot of typing and has taken me twenty minuits to think and type this out haha. I did this on my phone only because the wifi at my house is jank right now so internet isnt an option for me.

There is no "AHHHH" in Courage
There is no “AHHH!” in Courage
Dear Reader,
The book “100 Cupboard’s” is a fantasy book that keeps the readers attention. Like a lot of books, it starts out with the author explaining the theme. This story takes place in Henry , Kansas with a 12 year old boy moving in with his aunt and uncle. Henry had been overprotected by his parents his entire life. Later this becomes a problem later when he finds 100 cupboards hidden behind plaster in the attic wall. That’s why one theme I thought stood out the most was Henry overcoming his fear, otherwise known as him having courage. There may have been other themes buried in this book, but the theme of courage is the theme that stood out the most. The genres that you will be seeing will be a personal letter, a haiku, a chart of ten ways to know if you are courageous, and photographs with captions.
Sincerely,
Alex Unrue
Genres
Haiku’s for Courage

Its earned, not a right
Been Scared his whole life
Cupboards forced courage in him

-Sven Eriksson
Personal Letter:
Dear Henry,
I know that you have had a lot of crazy adventures in the cupboards, and I know that you were going to eventually read my journals. Yes, by the time you read this, I will be dead. Just think of this letter as being some sort of final goodbye and to be only read by your eyes. My father discovered these cupboards and spent most of his life uncovering countless secrets about these little portals to somewhere different. I too have had my very own adventure within those cupboards, but mine was a little scarier because I didn’t have someone other than my dead father to pass along secrets about these cupboards and have someone travel with me through them. Good thing you have your uncle, incase he hasn’t told you, he is not exactly from this town or maybe even this country. He too is from one of those cupboards, and never wants to go back. Knowing your foster parents, you probably have been over protected your entire life. You know, always wearing safety helmets, knee pads, and I’m sure the list go’s on and on. I know that your parents probably haven’t even told you about the wonders of our world and its exploration but that will all hit you eventually. So that pretty much concludes my letter to you Henry. Just remember that there is always a new place to be found, you just need to have to guts to explore that place.
Sincerely,
You’re Grandfather

Ten Ways to Know If You are Courageous:
1. You don’t get the chills.
2. Scary movies? No Problem!
3. You are a leader that doesn’t back down.
4. Do you get knots in your stomach in suspenseful or intense situation?
5. Do you know what it takes to not be afraid?
6. How many fears control your life?
7. Scared of spiders?
8. Do you sleep with a night light?
9. Are you afraid of heights?
10.Do you even know what having courage means

Reflection
Now let me take a few minutes to explain why i chose the genres that i did. First, i chose to make two haiku's because i think that a haiku is a simple but powerful way to make your reader understand the theme. Also, a haiku is a three line poem that pretty much explains the whole book that i read. Next, i chose to write a letter from Henry's grandfather to Henry. That way, i could capture the reader in the story like hes reading the book and indirectly explain to the reader why henry is afraid and why the book is called "The 100 Cupboards". After the letter, i chose to make a little quiz to see if you are courageous. I did this because i feel like during the entire book, henry had been tested on his fears and how well he can overcome them so making a quiz seemed like the most logical choice. You, the reader, may quiz yourself using those questions, but they are symbolizing all the questions he had to ask himself and why he had to. Last but not least, i posted three pictures of what bravery kind of looked like in todays society. A fire fighter and a soldier seemed to be the first two things that popped into my head because they are the ones risking their lives everyday to make our everyday lives livable. I also put batman up there, and i know that may seem totally irrelevant, but hear me out. When i was little and i would watch cartoons, i would love watching batman. This is because out of all the superheroes that were cartoonized, batman seemed the most courageous. Maybe thats because of his lack of fear, or maybe it has to do with the fact that batman is still a regular human being. he doesn't have superpowers, just a utility belt and a few gymnastic moves.

Info tech is..... REALLY EASY
Hey english people, just sitting here in info tech fourth period and doing my blog. Like the title, infotech is like the easiest class i have ever taken. If you do the work, there is no way you will have lower than an A. Some people do but thats their problem. So now to english, i have been reaing the book "100 Cupboards" and i have to say, i am really getting into this book. Its about this kid that has to live at his aunt and uncles house. Then one night he was sleeping and he started explaining how dreams were becoming more and more real feeling. Then he found 98 cupboards behing the plaster in his wall. Thats all i really feel like explaining because i really dont feel like going into detail. If that quick discription tickled your fancy, go read it. Other than reading, english has been uneventful. Combined with ogt practice, english is actually one of my favorite classes right now other than computer art. Speaking of computer art, i actually am having alot of fun in that class. right now, i just finished a picture involving me having to draw a teddy bear and make it look real. Surprisingly, i really like how it turned out. If you want to see it, just ask haha. Now onto my weekend, tonight, im trying to chill with my dude hunter eades after he gets back from baseball. Other than that, nothing. Thats why im excited for this weekend. Almost everynight this week, i havnt gotten home until around 9 because of driving class and tennis practice. So i am looking to chill for 2 days and catch up on sleep that i have lost this week. Oh, and i have four driving classes left, then i get my license in the beginning of june. So right when school ends, ill have my license haha.

My Schedule for my upcoming week? Ha ha ha
So english class, its been fun the past year but that reign of fun is at its end. I think the cause of this is because i have to read a book in three weeks. Its not the amount of tike we get to read its the fact that i HAVE to. I dont like reading in the first place, and now i have to or ill basically fail english for this quater. Right now im reading "100 cupboards" and its okay so far but its really not making that much sense. But now onto my busy week schedule. So i am trying out for the highschool tennis team which means that i have a 2 hour practice everyday till april basically. I also have driving classes and i have a guitar class on mondays for eight weeks. So basically, everynight this week, im mot getting home until 9 every night except when i run home to shower for 10 minuits. Im not looking foward to this week but its gonna happen. I am in fact looking foward to french today though because we have a fun substitute in place of mrs. Reasoner :D. Im gonna be sleeping alot this week so wish me luck that i have time to sleep so i can. Ugh i dont like blogging on my Phone (takes too long). Well see ya fellow bloggers

24 Years
There we were, on the south side of Columbus, Ohio. The only problem is that we are not born until 2010, and the year we are in is 2000. How we got here? Well that will be explained later. So, me and my sister, Marcy, are walking around trying to find shelter from the blistering cold weather. Since we didn't know that our time machine was a one way ticket to 24 years before, we are trapped in a time that is a little unfamiliar. We walked along the arena district until we came across an internet cafe.
"Wow! These are rare in our time!" i said. "Yeah i know! Look at all these old computers! Mabye some online research can help us out." Marcy concluded. I sat down and said "Computer, On.... nothing. Computer, On!" Still nothing had happened. "Maybe its broken?" Marcy said. I looked at her with a weird look and said "Remember our old apartment? Well dad used to have a computer like this, sure it was alot more updated, but it did have this thing." I sat and glared at the silver thing with two buttons. "He used to rub it on the table in order to have to computer complete certain tasks. "Then try it" Marcy said. "Okay okay" i said. I moved the cursor up onto the internet icon and clicked the button on the silver computer task completer, then searched "Time Machine Help" and a bunch of listings came up.
"Now is it looking more familiar? Google hasn't changed a bit hahaha" I said seeming smart. "Okay good! something that we actually recognize!" Marcy said relieved. "Hey look Marcy, James Smith- Time Travel Expert (Not Licensed), This might be our guy. It says here that he lives in the northern side of Gahanna." I said. "Xavier? Whats Gahanna?" Marcy asked, "Gahanna is where we live but the name changed a year before you were born, but we really need to get going if we are going to meet this guy" I said.
We hitched a ride with a fellow carpet cleaner that was headed to Gahanna anyways.

45 Minuit's Later
"Here we are, 1668 Glendale Court." I said. "Do you think hes nice Xavier?" Marcy asked, "I do not know, but we have to get out of this time period before dark, id rather not sleep on a park bench in a strange year. Plus we have to be careful, any change we make can alter the year we live in drastically" I said. We rang the doorbell and stood back, as an old lady opened the door and stared at us. "Good morning ma'am, does a James Smith live at this residence?" Marcy asked. "Why yes sweety, may i ask who you two are?" Asked the old lady. "Yes, well, we are fans of his website and we were hoping if we could interview him for our school project on time travel." I said sneakily. "Oh of course! Come right in! But if i were you, i wouldnt get caught up in all that time travel business, it makes you look crazy." said the lady.
We walked inside her house and walked down into the basement where the lady led us. As we rounded the corner, i saw a big, Caucasian, hairy, man sitting in a high tech looking desk chair. It seemed as if his eyes were in a trans and glued to the computer monitor. It also smelled of root beer and arm sweat like he had been down here for a little too long. "Hello Mr. Smith" I said, and the guy turned around and said "Mr. Smith was my fathers name, please call me James, The ultra destroyer." "Yes well, me and my little sister were hoping that you could help us build a time machine. You see, i saw a movie on time travel in my science class in the year 2024, so me and my sister built one and came back in time 24 years earlier, the reason we need a new one is because we didnt know that the machine was only a one way stop." I said. "Did i ask you for a story? Look here kids, if you want my help, an expert, to build a time machine, its gonna cost you." James said. "Well how much?" asked Marcy. We watched as he mumbled to himself while calculating numbers on a calculator. "The cost including the amount of man hours and supplies will be about 10 grand" James said.
There was a moment of silence as me and Marcy shared looks. "James, you seem like a guy that fancies new technology, well do i have a deal for you." I said, "How about i trade you my communicator for a time machine. Sure its not worth 10 grand in my time, but in your time? Well it is the only one." I said with a grin. I carefully pulled out a shiny communicator that bleeped and flashed a holographic screen. The machine looked for signal but could not find any on the fact that the signal hasnt been invented yet. We watched as his eyes widened and he whispered softly in a hgih pitch voice "Deal".
Thats when the fun started, we gathered all the materials during the day and slept in his upstairs room at night. We worked all day and found that with the help of my communicator, the estimated time for completion was at least halved. James was very nice to us to following week, probably because of the futuristic gadget that we had givin to him. Then before we knew it, it was completed. "This sure doesnt look like a time machine" Marcy said. "Well of course it doesnt to you guys, this time machine is 24 years before your time machine so i expect it to be different" said James in a snarly voice. "Well does it work?" I asked, "It does now that i hooked up the communicators plutonium toned flux capacitor battery" said James. We all gazed at the machine because we all knew that it was the time to test and use the time machine. We are either going to die, or go back home. A fifty-fifty chance that me and marcy are willing to take. "So what you do is put these helmets and belts on, then i will flip the switch and if everything goes well, you will be back to where your time machine departed" James said. Me and Marcy put on the low tech helmets and utility belts. We sat down and got comfortable. "Thank you for everything James" Marcy said. "Hey, its not everyday that i meet two kids from the future, and i get a free communicator out of it all" James said. James walked over to the counter and flipped the switch. The machine buzzed and whirred as we vanished from thin air. Then all of a sudden, things we silent, and we were in our living room. "WERE HOME!!" i yelled. "Mom, Dad!" marcy yelled. We ran out of the living room and saw our parents in the kitchen. We ran up and hugged them both like we have never hugged them before.
"Oh good you guys are back from weekend programming class, and thank you for the hugs but your going to miss your school transporter" mom said. So we grabbed our bags, still happy to be home, and ran out to the rocket awaiting for the departure to school. Then it was back to regular routine, i had science class, and Marcy had art class in the elementary school part of our building. But there was something awfully strange about my science teacher. Concluding from last weeks video on time travel, he started to explain about how he had witnessed time travel himself back in 2000. He explained about how two kids from this time had traveled back and met him. Also about how he used to be called James Smith until he had gotten his name changed for legal reasons for having access to future technology. Grinning, i ran out of the classroom and video messaged Marcy on a friends communicator. We exchanged looks and then she also figured out that, Mr. Hibble, my science teacher, was the guy we had just spent the craziest week of our lives with.

Late again
One problem with having this blog homework is that i CONSTANTLY FORGET! i mean seriosly? I have got to find a way for me to remember, otherwise ill be in class three days late and typing my blog through my iphone (which is a pain by the way) but whatever, ill find a way. So this past long weekend was actually fun. Probably because it was not jam packed with events, i kinda like leaving my plans open sometimes so i have soke flexibility. So lets see here, on friday, i hung out at my dude alvaros house. Me and him jammed to some music while he played drums and i played guitar, i called it a early night and wentto sleep around 1:30. On saturday, my dad picked me uo from alvaros and we went to urban active to work out. After that i just went to sleep around 12. I woke up around noon sunday morning and ate some breakfast, and then my grandparents came over for my little sisters talent show for her choir. she did good as always and we went to the rusty bucket for dinner ans jennys for dessert (i got the brown butter almond brittle mmmmmmmm). On monday and tuesday, i worked at my dads office all day and ended up bringing in 120 bucks to my wallet. So that was my weekend. Now in english, we have been preparing for a test and we started the extended response on thursday. It was pretty easy even though some of the questions took some thought and writing. The overall mathing and multiple choice test that we took friday was even easier. So thats basically what we did in english last week. Well i started at 7:10 and now its 7:27 so i best be getting off now..... SEE YA

Wastes of time.... hmmmmmmm
Here i am on Week whatever. Now to you Mr. Potter, video games can be a waste of time. BUT, what about socializing while playing video games? Almost every night, i play around an hour of Black Ops or Halo Reach. Usually when im playing, im talking with at least 3 or 4 friends. Even though i may be motionless and staring at a tv for an hour straight, at least im embedded into a conversation with my buddies about school or everyday life. Im sure that if i was taking my time to open a book and read, that i would not be able to have fun talking with friends. Sure reading has its upsides, but there are also downsides. I dont really feel like naming them so i guess your gonna have to figure them out yourself. Another time waster i think is watching a movie. I lovvee movies, but every time i watch one it seems like my night has been kinda wasted. Movies may take some time but i do like the fact that you get a different feeling after each different movie. For example... Summer of 07, i was in michigan with my family and some friends and we are walking out of the theater. WE had just witnessed the epic transformer movie. Being the first one, it hit me hard. I mean i felt like the parking lot was going to explode in fiery and megan foxy greatness. I really dont understand why i feel this way but when i see alot of superhero action movies, i walk out thinking im invincible. Okay enough of that, time for my weekly review of english. Basically this week, we had been reading different stories that were either sci-fi or fantasy. I gotta say that they were impressive stories all up to the A Hero At The Gates book. I couldnt read a full line of that book, no joke. It was like my mind wouldnt let me. Once i heard the characters name and where they lived... that was the end of my attention to that book. I really dont wanna read about Cyrion in the city of garpantapoo. Im not into that fantasy stuff. But other than that book, my week was pretty average. Well goodnight fellow bloggers and bloggettes.

Gotta love them
I think having siblings is bittersweet. Sure i love them alot and can be sweet when they are there for you in a time of need, but also bitter when they get under your skin over silly things. I have three sisters and a brother and that means that the mood in my house is energetic and always fun. My oldest sister is 20 and her name is kaley, i cant say that we have fought much which makes. It enjoyable when she stops to visit. My oldest younger sister is erica and shes 11. She lives at my dads so she probably knows what its like to be an only child because i go to my dads every other weekend. My youngest sister is mia and shes 8. Mia is very creative and its kinda funny when i walk in her room and i see her acting out all of her littlest pet shop. Finally, my brother is 7 and his name is joe. Joe is very fun to be around except when hes working on homework. Hes the brother that always wants to play. If its video games to legos, he knows his facts on the 7 year old boy toys on the market. Now that u know my brothers and sisters, its time to review english. In english on friday we heard a science fiction story on the internet called mars in heaven. Although kinda predictable, it was actually pretty fun listening to stories before television. Other than those stories, its been pretty easy in that class.

haha woow
okay so mabye i forgot the four blogs i was supposed to do, OH WELL... well poop. so im just sitting here studying for my exams tomorrow. my schedule is i have every exam except for 5 and 8 which means ill have all three on wednsday :(. i honestly have nooooooo idea what to talk about so this is going to be a very short response. in english, i really think that our exam is going to be really easy, mostly because we really havnt done anything difficult this year (unlike last year) and the exam is mostly over short stories and past books weve read so its going to be easy. the only hard part will be the handcarved coffins because i was asleep or distracted almost every day that weve read it haha.

Helloooo
Soooo... I hve four blogs to make up haha, which is alot and hopefully i can get credit on these because ill have four by the end of the weekend. Well right now im sitting in biology on my iphOne and really wishing they had a blogger app, catch my drift? It'd just be easier then typing this out on my phone. So today in english, we finished the handcarved coffins book (which was pretty good) and i feel like i kinda missed half the book haha.
